CDC Weight for Height Percentiles for Boys (77-121 cm tall)

Calculate Z-score and percentile

About

This tool is based on data from the Centeres for Disease Control (CDC) Growth Charts released in 2000. The CDC growth charts are recommended for use in clinical practice and research to assess size and growth in U.S. infants, children, and adolescents.

These weight-for-stature standards are available as an alternative to BMI for assessment of over or undernutrition in children ages 2-5 years. However, health care providers should consider using the BMI-for-age charts to be consistent with current recommendations.

This calculator uses measured standing height for children ages 2 to 5 years, and is not valid for recumbent length.

Percentile conversion from Z-Score is done by table look-up in the standard Normal Table. Percentiles are provided for Z Scores between -3.09 and 3.09. Values beyond these extremes return percentiles of 0.1 and 99.9 respectively.
